At the Toronto College of Osteopathy, Ross was vigorously trained by the most experienced and accomplished Osteopath (Also MD, PhD, Master Osteopath) in Ontario. Ross has exceptional knowledge of Anatomy and Biomechanics, as well as exceptional palpation skills to the point of “X-Ray Vision”, but with his hands. Ross’s treatment experience revolves around clinics and patients with just about any ailment there is, ranging from the basic neck and low back pain, to issues you thought were not treatable without pills or machines like menstrual cramps, indigestion / intolerances, chronic relentless pain, postural dysfunctions and mis-alignments, concussions, depression and degenerative conditions.

Ross has treated a very wide range of different conditions using a combination of Swedish, Non-Swedish, Relaxation and Sport Massage techniques as well as Taping to help treat, maintain and prevent injury and maintain proper muscle firing, tone and posture. This range is further expanded with Osteopathy that involves effective treatments of: any joint, any muscle, any connective tissue, lymphatics, circulation of blood, function of any organ and the Central and Peripheral Nervous Systems. Ross specifically tailors each and every treatment to be compassionate and as efficient as possible, as the goal of each treatment is to decrease the symptoms by a minimum of 50%, by finding the cause of the problem using a thorough assessment and constant monitoring during every second of his therapy session. No two treatments will be exactly the same as the body is constantly in flux, trying to repair itself. Ross also specializes in full body and mind relaxation using Cranio-Sacral Therapy which involves the gentlest of touch to specifically tell the Nervous System to rest; valuable technique utilized for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Autism and most other mental dysfunctions. Ross’s second specialty lies in alleviating the lovely gift that women receive every month, and the problems that follow. Whether it is heavy, painful, irregular, or causes other problems like frequent urination(day/night), migraines or constipation, it can and will be improved by treating the Nervous System, Bladder, Uterus, Colon and surrounding connective tissues from the outside as the patient is clothed. Ross strongly believes that the body is a whole and must be assessed and treated as a whole and not in part, and the best tools to achieve that are your hands and mind. Whether you have tried every possible treatment modality to no avail or have never sought help with your symptoms, Osteopathy will likely be your last stop as it is known to promote a significant difference in your health and general well-being at any age.
