Dr. Behfar Sanjari, DC, RAc (Chiropractor, Registered Acupuncturist)

Dr. Sanjari is a licensed Chiropractor and Registered Acupuncturist, through the College of Chiropractors of Ontario and the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario. He obtained a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) from the University of Western Ontario in 2001, certification in Acupuncture through the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture in 2003, a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from National University of Health Sciences in 2003, his Doctor of Chiropractic in 2005 from National University of Health Sciences, a Diploma in Acupuncture from the Canadian College of Holistic Health in 2006, additional training and certification in Functional Capacity Evaluations with Metriks Education Inc. in 2007, Certification as an Independent Chiropractic Examiner in December 2010 from CMCC, Certified Provider of the Graston® Technique in 2013, Certified Neuro-Structural Taping Provider in 2013 and a Certified Complete Concussion Management™ practitioner as of November 2014 through the Complete Concussion Management™ network. Dr. Sanjari continues to attend workshops and seminars to keep abreast with health care industry developments, and is the Clinic Director of both Richmond Hill and Newmarket locations.

Dr. Amir Ahsan, DC (Chiropractor)

Dr. Ahsan is a licensed Chiropractor and a certified acupuncture provider in the province of Ontario. He holds a honours baccalaureate degree in Life Science from McMaster University and earned his degree of Doctor of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Dr. Ahsan has pursued continuing education courses including a certificate in Functional Integrated Acupuncture, and a Certified Complete Concussion Management™ practitioner through the Complete Concussion Management™ network. Dr. Ahsan grew up in Newmarket, Ontario and was introduced to chiropractic and manual medicine through athletics during his high-school and university career. His model of care is to provide individualized treatment for each patient, helping them to reach both their health, and functional-mobility related goals.

Marites Loria, PT (Physiotherapist)

Marites obtained her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the Philippines. In 2000 she passed the Philippine Physical Therapist’s Licensure Examination. In 2013 she successfully passed the Canadian Physiotherapy Competency Exam (written component) after which she joined Chiro-Med Rehab Centre. Marites has successfully completed the PCE clinical component. Marites has additionally completed a Soft Tissue Release course in March 2015, is Certified in K-Taping as of June 2015, completed McKenzie Method Part A for the lumbar spine in October 2015 and a Certified Complete Concussion Management™ practitioner as of November 2015 through the Complete Concussion Management™ network. Marites is also a member of the Society of Physiotherapists with Foreign Credentials. She attends continuing education courses quarterly to enhance her knowledge and skills in the physiotherapy field. She strongly believes in client-centered care and providing evidenced based practice.

Marco Chiodo, MA, C. Psych. Assoc. (Registered Psychologist Associate)

Marco Chiodo received a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Specialized Honours in Psychology) from York University and then obtained a Master of Arts Degree (Counselling Psychology) from the Adler School of Professional Psychology. He is a Registered Psychological Associate with The College of Psychologists of Ontario and has been authorized to practice independently within the areas of Clinical and Rehabilitation Psychology since 2013. He also maintains memberships with the Canadian Psychological Association and the Ontario Psychological Association. Marco has been providing psychological services to patients within physical rehabilitation clinics (e.g., motor vehicle accident related sequelae) and private practice settings since 2004. The emphasis of his services is on the assessment and treatment of adults presenting with depression, anxiety, posttraumatic stress, and chronic pain. He also has experience conducting insurance psychological evaluations with motor vehicle accident claimants.

Kenneth Boone, RMT, (Registered Massage Therapist)

Kenneth Boone started his career as a trained Intervenor for people who were born deafblind or acquired it later in life.  This experience further sparked his passion for working with people and making a difference in their lives. He then went back to school and graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydro-Therapy and is now a caring passionate therapist. Kenneth provides General Swedish Massage, relaxation, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, deep tissue and treatment based conditions such as; Temporomandibular dysfunction and tension headaches and more.

Kristina Moniz (Office Manager)

Kristina received her diploma in Medical Office Administration, in Honors, and Human Resource Management in 2016 at Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology. She has worked for various Medical Specialists in Newmarket and aims to grow in her current profession as a Medical Administrator / Office Manager.

Combined to date, Kristina has worn many professional hats and has contributed 14 years to customer service. Kristina demonstrates her determination to grow as a professional by constantly upgrading her education in both Medical Office Procedures and Protocols and Account Management. Organization, efficient multi-tasking, professionalism and excellent customer service are all very important attributes that Kristina prides herself in possessing and applying daily.

Oksana Tribble (Medical Liaison)

Oksana Tribble graduated from Seneca College in 2000 as a Medical Office Administrator. In Addition to her Medical Office Administration Diploma from Seneca College, Oksana has over 13 years experience, working primarily for the same employer, at various locations in diverse capacities. In these central capacities, Oksana worked in medical and clerical administration, while prioritized and co-oridinated various responsibilities with warmth and professionalism. In these positions Oksana was recognized by her employers, as well as managers, for her organization and problem solving skills and ability to accommodate exceptional requests and demands in a short period of time, with excellence and professionalism, while maintaining an excellent rapport with all patients, staff and management involved.
